Nicole Ashley Terminelli believes in Massena’s potential and she continues to step forward in support of constructive efforts to showcase the village that she loves. She and her husband Michael live on Walnut Avenue with their children. She is a 1998 graduate of Massena Central School and she earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from SUNY Potsdam.
As someone who believes that the community’s greatest potential exists among its children, Nicole has taught sixth grade at her Alma Mater for the past ten years, nine of which have been spent at Jefferson Elementary. She serves on the Jefferson Social Committee and the District’s Technology Committee. She is also the leader of the Positivity Project Partner School project within the district. Nicole and Mike became members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #1702 in May and they are looking forward to becoming more involved.
Nicole extends her passion for teaching and for providing safe environments for children to thrive into the Massena community at large. She has been part of the organizing committee that brought the Massena Boys & Girls Club from idea to reality for the past three years. She serves as the Board Secretary, Chair of the Governance & Board Development Committee and as a member of the Personnel and Public Relations Committees. She and Mike coached Little League together in 2018 and she supervises the Youth Bowling League.
WHY NICOLE IS RUNNING
As your next County Legislator, Nicole wants to extend her new perspective to develop and promote cutting edge economic development and tourism initiatives that advance the potential of Massena and the rest of St. Lawrence County. She hopes to collaborate with village and town officials while also working across the aisle in Canton. Nicole is approachable and pledges to be available when her neighbors need her help. After all, doesn’t her track record already prove that to be true?
